08 March 2014: Open Archives Day in Germany

On 08 March 2014, the nationwide Open Archives Day in Germany, the Federal Archives Berlin, Koblenz and Bayreuth will open their doors for the interested public to allow for a look behind the curtains. A variety of activities will familiarise the public with the institutions themselves and their archival work areas. This year's motto is Frauen - Männer - Macht (Women - Men - Power). 

There will be a presentation on the Archives Portal Europe at 12.30 and 15.30 CET at the Federal Archives in Berlin.
